Sector development program investigating current intersections of art x new technology designed and delivered in collaboration with the creative sector. Exploring new modes of arts practice, engagement, and presentation through an iterative and evolving program of research, residencies, critical conversations, skills, development opportunities and public outcomes. A Sunshine Coast Council project informed by partners including Experimenta, UniSC and REMIX Inc.

A dance development initiative delivered in partnership with dance sector professionals aimed at creating more opportunities to experience dance and get more people dancing across the Sunshine Coast - with a focus on increasing participation, professional practice, programming, networks and spaces for dance through partnerships, collaboration and new approaches. A Sunshine Coast Council project funded by Arts Queensland through the Regional Arts Development Fund.

Creative Director.

IMPOSTER is an ongoing enquiry into the constructed self. IMPOSTER seeks radical beauty in the ordinary. This presentation of imposter considers; States of overwhelm and startle. Moments when the simplest things seem hard and it feels like life is unravelling. When stuff is thrown at you metaphorically and sometimes literally. When what seems sweet turns sour. In the form of a multi-channel video installation, poster prints and one-off intimate performance event. Supported by Noosa Regional Arts Development Fund and Phluxus2 through indepenDANCE.

Creative Director.

An ongoing inter-disciplinary enquiry into the constructed self, anonymity and the super ordinary. Involving the body, performance, moving image and object. The experiment employs ideas of assemblage, absurdity, unnatural narratologies and radical beauty to propose moments of poetic nonsense designed to make you feel something. Supported by Butter Factory Arts Centre, Noosa Regional Arts Development Fund, and Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance.

New North Contemporary.

Founder.

New North is a movement that supports contemporary arts practice and experiences in south east QLD’s northern tip, Noosa. It brings together artists, communities of change, culture activists and audiences through provocative and poetic live arts and cultural experiences. Launching Soon.

Place2.

A creative placemaking project designed to enliven the streets and laneways of Caloundra through artful interventions. This Sunshine Coast Council project included Place2Play - a series of seven participatory artist led public activations, Place2Paint - bringing vertical surfaces to life through contemporary murals including the regions first AR mural and Place2Connect - the transformation of an old bus interchange into a creative space - Sub Tropic Studio.

Spaces for Creatives.

A region wide initiative making spaces for artists to practice, connect and present. Transforming under-utilised spaces and developing new models for access to existing spaces. This ongoing Sunshine Coast Council project includes the establishment of Old Lock Up & IN ARI, Sub Tropic Studio, and 2ND Space and the Project24 Residency program.

Concept, project design and delivery.

A three year dance sector development project engaging multiple cultural venues, artists, educators, dance schools and community to build audiences, capacity, participation and networks. Working with Yarra Ranges Council, this project included a month-long program of unexpected people dancing in unexpected places across the region.
